What is IAS? 

Availability is the most important measure placed on IT today. For 95% of all businesses, it is not cost-justifiable to have permanent resources on site, such as duplicate servers, systems, networks and storage – or to run extended shift patterns for technical resources.

How it works

The 24/7 early warning element of the service is based around our service-monitoring suite and remote-monitoring capability.

Our system generates an alert, in the event of risk to, or loss of, your service. Computacenter takes action based on policies agreed on with you, from problem-logging to emergency call-out of your staff or bringing in our emergency support team.

A reactive service is also available, in response to customers’ requests for assistance.

This is based on pre-agreed technology sets, for defined periods of cover, provided on a per-incident basis. You not only have the assurance of being supported by experts, but also the cost protection that we are not charging you by the hour for emergency support.
